I was feeling free as a lark, thought I'd take a picnic to the park,
Plopped myself down on the ground, then I saw some little critters crawling around...
And now I've got ants in my pants...
Makes me do a funny little dance, I've got ants in my pants.
I wasn't thrilled with the news, sorta panicked, kicked off my shoes,
You won't be surprised at how all of a sudden I stopped and said,"ow!"
Now I've got rocks in my socks..
That's what I get for thinking outside the box,
I've got rocks in my socks.
By now I could no longer stroll, so I dropped down, started to roll,
I wasn't thinking I confess that rolling like that would kick up such a mess...
And now I've got dirt in my shirt...
Feels kind of itchy, at least it doesn't hurt, I've got dirt in my shirt.
I thought a picnic was supposed to be easy,
By now I was feeling kind of queasy,
I thought I'd head home but instead the nearest tree just bumped right into my head...
And now I've got a pain in my brain...
Kinda feel like I'm going insane, I've got a pain in my brain...

These are my favourite pants, other ones don’t really stand a chance,
The colour is just alright, but these pockets are out of sight!
When I’m having a look around, and I find a treasure on the ground,
I don’t need to find a place to lock it, I just put it right in my pocket.
I’ve got a feather, some marbles and a pile of rocks,
A bouncy ball and a pair of dirty socks.
A paper airplane and a hot wheels car,
A balloon and a half-eaten candy bar.
There’s some grass and dirt and a couple of worms,
A rubber band and a top that turns,
A broken crayon and some chewing gum,
And who knows where this thing came from?!?!
But the stick I found was much too sharp,
It made a hole in there, pulled my pocket right apart!
Now all of the things I found are lying down there on the ground,
I just lost everything I said, it's too bad I wasn’t carrying a needle and thread.

My breath smells like mouldy cheese, my legs are numb up to my knees,
I feel my fingers start to freeze, I just wanna catch some zees,
I think I’m starting to turn blue, better stay away from you
Because these germs are flying through the air like ah… ah… CHOO!!!!

Woke up this morning with a tickle in my throat,
I guess I should have listened when my dad said, “Wear a coat!”
My forehead is on fire, my toes are made of ice,
I’m shivering so hard, already dropped my stuffy - twice!!!
I’m feeling so stuffed up my words aren’t coming out quite right,
My nose started running in the middle of the night,
My tongue feels like a cotton ball, my eyes are swollen shut,
I think there’s a volcano I feel rumbling in my gut…

While I’m riding my skidoo-la, or just playing the fool-a.
If you want to be cool-a, here’s what you should do-la,
Practice hard ’til you can hula hoop and play the tambourine and ukulele too.
Would you hula on a beach? Give me something out of reach.
Could you hula on a cloud? Sure, it wouldn’t make a sound.
Can you hula in your sleep? So good you all will weep.
Can you hula in a crowd? The spectators, they’ll be wowed!
How about with a salamander? Any day on the calendar,
Would you hula with a friend? We will hula ’til the end!
I can hula to the music while I even tiptoe through the tulips.

Now replace the “1” with a kick off the floor…. are you ready?

Now a drummer always likes having something to smash

It’s the first day of school, I’m the new kid here,

I’m worried they won’t like me, don’t know if I’ll fit in,

What will I do at recess? What about in between?

Stop looking at the ground, start aiming for the sky…

It’s easy to get nervous, with anything that’s new,
